Let's shine the spotlight on one of the most underrated artists I've ever come across, who was ungoogleable and didn't even have a Discogs page, Agnė Butnoriūtė-Aleknavičienė, who released her first and sadly only album in 1995.

Agnė is a pop techno and pop folk singer who was known for being Janina Butnorienė's daughter, another exceptional singer (and songwriter, composer, musician and poet) who mostly sang pop folk music during the same period. Agnė started her singing career in 1995, when she released this album, Gyvenimo rytas, where she only performed as the vocalist, whilst her mother, Janina Butnorienė, helped her by making the music, writing the lyrics and also sang many of the songs alongside her.

Later the same year, her and her mother released a compilation/collection album, Dar ne ruduo (dainų rinkinys), whose songs were taken from Janina's first three albums Vietnavės gėlė (1994), Pragaro rožės (1995) and Atminties lašai (1995), as well as from Agnė's debut album Gyvenimo rytas (1995).

I really can't wrap my head around why she is extremely underrated and why she didn't even have a Discogs page until I had to submit it. She's got probably the sweetest voice I've ever heard. That sweet voice paired with the extremely amazing pop techno instrumentals that songs like Gyvenimo rytas, Tikras draugas and Tik vieną sykį makes this album a gift from the gods.
