At 12:00 p.m., The Cobb County Emergency Management Agency conducted a monthly test of the Outdoor Warning Siren System, weather permitting.
I wanted to record something while I was on my lunch break from work. Since I already recorded the 2001-SRN near my workplace, and since I literally have nowhere else to record, I have chosen to record the Whelen over by the RaceTrac Gas Station over on Shallowford Road and Canton Road. Originally, This siren had a 3rd Gen Federal Signal 2001-SRN at that location, but it got removed sometime between May 2017 and mid-2019. This siren is located at 4400 Shallowford Rd, in Marietta, GA.
