브로콜리 너마저는 2007년 EP앨범 [앵콜요청금지]로 데뷔, 별다른 홍보 없이도 입소문을 타고 이례적인 인기를 얻은 4인조 밴드다. 멤버 모두가 처음으로 음악에 발을 디딘 아마추어 밴드로 시작한 이 팀은 지금 이 현실을 살아가고 있는 자신, 그리고 자신과 다를 바 없이 힘든 일상 속에 놓여있을 청춘들의 이야기를 노래한다. 화려하고 꽉 찬 사운드, 기교가 풍부한 보컬 대신 담담하게 읊조리듯 노래하는 브로콜리 너마저의 음악은 복잡한 삶 속에 지친 이들에게 잠시 쉬어갈 수 있는 시간이 되어준다. 올해로 데뷔 13년차를 맞은 이들은 20대에 시작해 어느덧 30대 후반이 된 지금, 더 폭넓은 시야와 원숙해진 연주로 '위로', '공감'을 노래하는 대표적인 밴드로 자리하고 있다.
브로콜리 너마저의 [I'm Live] 공연은 9년 만에 발표한 정규 3집 앨범 [속물들] 속 다양한 노래를 들어볼 수 있는 시간으로 꾸며졌다. 타이틀곡 '속물들'부터 수록곡 '혼자 살아요', '괜찮지 않은 일' 객원보컬 이아름과 함께한 '서른', 마지막으로 브로콜리 너마저 불변의 대표곡 '보편적인 노래'로 공연을 마무리하며 현장의 관객들을 따뜻하게 위로했다는 후문이다.
