Waste Connections: New Pete 520 McNeilus ZR on Trash!

Here is a fairly new ZR in action. Waste connections has been getting a lot more ZRs which they have ordered or have come from one of the Florida yards. Most of you know my yard is know to have front loaders but they have recently only gotten side loaders mainly ZRs besides a couple Labries in the past. This truck is doing trash only on Tuesday. My yard is starting to go back to one driver for trash and one driver for recycle instead of having to go dump and come back to the same route. Almost all of the ZRs have been out in trash because hey compact better compared to recycle. One thing I don’t like about the ZR is that the arm can get worn out over a short period of time and the paint can come off of the arm but it’s a garbage truck lol. Also liked that this trucks has Peterbilt chassis but wish to see a Mack in the future or even the newer Autocar chassis.
