Though operating on a small scale out of London, the work of Richard Malone’s label has global implications. An artisan’s hand is evident at every stage of Malone’s sustainable process, evident in the construction of his International Woolmark Prize-winning, traceable collection. Using Merino wool, the Irish designer works outside the traditional fashion system with a view to minimising harm to the environment and creating a transparent, circular and sustainable practice - one that shows there’s another way forward. ⁠
