We have been meaning to visit the Belton House miniature railway for a long time as we were going to the Stapleford Park railway we thought we would make a day of it.We were very surprised as the railway was a lot better than we had heard (Out and back) the layout has been changed to the Dumbbell layout and was in very good condition,new track and coaches.The Dumbbell curves are some of the sharpest we have rode on.
We would have liked to see some sort of fencing at the top half of the ride as children could easily walk/play on the tracks.
This video was taken in June not May as the titles say.
