Whisky.com reviews the Glenmorangie Cognac Cask Finish 13 years 2021. This Glenmorangie Small Batch matured first in bourbon barrels and then in cognac barrels. The French oak barrels can drown out the fine, fruity single malt aromas. Therefore, Master Distiller Dr. Bill Lumsden deliberately selected barrels that have been filled many times. This minimizes the influence of the oak.
