CLUTCH - SELF-TITLED LIVE Compilation Disc 3 (2010 - 2019) - FULL ALBUM In Sequence

An idea was formulated in the early days of 2025 on how the Clutch Compendium Facebook page was going to celebrate 30 years of Clutch’s 2nd full length album, “Clutch” (a/k/a the self-titled album).

The concept was to create a compilation of fan-sourced live versions of the self-titled album set in proper album sequence and to have different versions of this ‘Self-Titled Live‘ spanning the 30 years of them playing it live. …a document of how these songs have progressed through the different eras of Clutch’s sound evolution.

A lot of time and research went into finding the best sounding tracks and even more time spent on designing a layout suitable for each album. The space theme for ‘Self-Titled Live‘ was a given and tying the layouts together with this common ‘beyond-Earth’ thread was a must. However, each needed its own special identity while still sharing a commonality.
It was landed on to breakdown the 30 years and assign it a space concept like this:
1995 to 1999 the early days of playing the self-titled songs live should sync up with early space exploration on our adjacent satellite the – MOON.
2000 – 2009 – Clutch adding a key element to the live shows, Mick Schauer on keyboards & organ – relates to stepping out to the next planet beyond our own – MARS.
2010 – 2019 – Clutch advancing their live sound is like space exploration spreading deeper into our own solar system – JUPITER and SATURN
2020 – 2025 – Clutch’s live show is now a well-oiled machine and extends out beyond our solar system and into the realm of other – GALAXIES
1994 – 1999 – Early versions with drastically different lyrics and/or sound, loose jams they were famous for and unreleased songs that didn’t make the album – BONUS MISSION: MOON ROCK

This upload is for Disc 3 – 2010 to 2019 - JUPITER and SATURN. While this was a momentous time for Clutch in the studio (releasing Earth Rocker, Psychic Warfare & Book of Bad Decisions) there less live performances of the self-titled songs. I had to revert to using the December 2009 Live at the 9:30 source for some of the songs.

The remaining live material is sourced from mostly from traded live Clutch CDs, DVDs, audio files and the Clutch Archive on YouTube.
