Let's just say for the Selangor Aviation Show 2024, the Indian Navy's Dornier was the star of the show, at least in the military segment. IN sent two of their twin-turboprop STOL Dornier AC to Subang, assisting Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in promoting the Maritime Surveillance Aircraft variant to PDRM, MMEA and RMAF. Three demo flights were conducted for these enforcement agencies and AF. Noticeable from the Dornier MSA exterior is the 360 radar under its belly, a FLIR camera, sensors on her wing tip and bubble windows. With the aft "roller shutter" door open, we can see that the mission console is placed just beside it.
We did not talk to anyone from HAL on the AC detail and their prospect in the show but their presence definitely brought the wow factor to SAS2024.
