The Hollywood Walk of Fame was established in 1960 to commemorate the achievements and influence of famous musicians, actors, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, and fictional characters from the entertainment industry. Built in 1926, it has hosted numerous special events in the entertainment industry including famous movie premieres, Academy Awards ceremonies, and corporate events.

The Dolby Theatre is another famous auditorium for live-performances and ceremonies that sits next to the TCL Chinese Theatre. Built in 2001, it has hosted the Academy Awards, American Idol, and American's Got Talent live shows.
