I really didn't like my prior solve, I gave it another go and it certainly played like a 1* rated puzzle this time (just by taking a few mins to think about the implications).

Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply. Cells separated by a chess king’s or knight’s move must contain different digits. Orthogonally adjacent cells cannot be consecutive. Cells separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio. All black dots are given.
