Big Railfan Outing on the Hudson. Railfanning CSX/MN Heritage units and Schneidermania. 11/2/24

The guys have a bi-annual Railfan Outing usually at Iona Island on CSX and Manitou station on Metro North. You can tell we are loose and act slightly eccentric at times. 😀😀😀.  We really hit the jackpot on both sides of the Hudson. On CSX we saw the #3194 “Law Enforcement” engine and the NC&STL Heritage unit plus BNSF power on a crude oil train. On Metro North later in the day we saw 5 different MN Heritage locomotive plus New York Central private cars trailing Amtrak #244. This by far was the best outing that we have ever had, and we had the biggest crowd of guys ever. This day will be hard to beat, but we will try. We had a great mixture of railroad employee buffs, and Railfans young and old. Schneider insanity helped dry the glue that is keeping is together. It was great to be around so many sane grownups 🤣🤣
