JD Vance and his family attend Good Friday service in Rome ahead of holiday weekend

Vice President JD Vance will reportedly meet with the Italian Prime Minister and the Vatican Secretary of State during his visit to Rome ahead of Easter.

After his arrival, Vance is expected to attend a "Passion of the Lord" celebration at St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City to commemorate Good Friday.

The Vice President’s trip comes on the heels of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s own visit to the White House to smooth over tariff negotiations between the United States and the European Union.
