Originally the class 73 electro -diesels were all based in the Southern Region.
Now a few survivors are based in Scotland, to work the Northern leg of the 'Caledonian Sleeper'
Here we see the unusual sight of class 73/9 , 73969, passing through Acton Bridge, on a move back to Craigentinny from Leicester.
