The other neat thing about us is we do revision surgery. Revision bariatric surgery is taking other operations from other surgeons and fixing them for whatever reason and that's unique. Not many programs do that, but I feel that if you're going to be a bariatric program, call yourself a legitimate program, you've got to do a whole gamut of stuff. Okay? You've got to take the easy stuff and the hard stuff. That's how we operate.

Everything we do is laparoscopic. Most folks nowadays know what that means and its little cuts, long chopsticks and video cameras. That's how we operate all the time nowadays. Why? It's a huge advantage to you, way less pain, way less infection, out of the hospital quick, back to work quick. The problem is it's a very hard surgery to do laparoscopically. So you really need to have somebody that's highly experienced in bariatric laparoscopic surgery, because it's tough stuff. The first operation is gastric bypass. That's kind of the granddaddy. It's been around for 60-80 years and it's still around. It's a good surgery.

The effect is amazing, okay? We see results that are amazing, 2/3 weight loss in a year, losing 100 pounds in a year, getting rid of the diabetes, getting rid of the sleep apnea, getting rid of the blood pressure in a year. These are amazing results.

We have folks that come in from all over the country and we operate on Thursday or Friday and they usually go do something in Vegas over the weekend, like Grand Canyon or shopping or something like that. So you'll be able to do stuff. You're not going to be bed ridden. Be up walking, talking, and drinking the day of surgery and the goal is to get you back doing normal stuff as soon as possible, as quick as possible.
