CFRC 101.9 FM presented its capstone Airwave YGK Matinee concert on September 28th 2025 at Broom Factory. Following a year of hosting numerous musicians-in-residence, this performance is an fantastic example of the outstanding creativity and musicianship undertaken in CFRC's studios during the length of the Airwave YGK 2024-25 residency program. Open to all ages, attendees enjoyed live performances by local acts Birdbone Theatre; Foster, Shea & Sudac & The Oscar Evans Group.
CFRC's Airwave YGK Musicians-in-Residence program and capstone concert were made possible through the generous support of the City of Kingston, Kingston Arts Council, the Kingston Music Office and Broom Factory.
