We headed back to Ranxo Ses Roques in Alcudia for a few hours of pure fun! It’s one of the most popular excursions on the island with horse riding and treks through the countryside, but this time we stuck to our favourite part – the petting farm.
Joseph and Frances both love animals, and although riding wasn’t an option this visit because of the weather and chronic pain, we had the best time in the goat pen. You can go right in with them to feed, cuddle and play they’re such characters and had us laughing non-stop.
Frances and Joseph loved watching and interacting with all the birds, from budgies, cockatiels etc and many others, they stayed for a long time playing with them.
We also got to meet Trini the macaw, who was in full form and loved showing off for everyone.
It’s the perfect place to visit if you love animals but can’t ride, there’s still loads to enjoy, and the atmosphere is so friendly and relaxed. Its lovely to get away from the main tourist areas.
A proper feel-good visit with goats, parrots and plenty of other lovely animals and most importantly smiles all round!
