Part 6 - Driving the North Coast 500 Coldbackie to Durness

The North Coast 500 (NC500) is Scotland's ultimate road trip, just over a 500 mile (830 km) journey starting and ending in Inverness. Dubbed Scotland's Route 66, this scenic drive takes you through the wild beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Expect winding roads that hug dramatic cliffs, serene lochs, and rolling moorlands and snow capped mountains.

Along the way, discover hidden beaches, ancient castles, and quaint villages, each revealing Scotland's rich history and culture. The NC500 is an adventure through some of the most spectacular landscapes on Earth, offering unforgettable views and memories at every turn.

Starting in Inverness, we drive the entire NC500 anti-clockwise. Each part begins where the previous part ends until we finish back in Inverness at the very spot we started.

My total mileage for the NC500 was 503 miles. I spent 10 days in Scotland and the filming was split into 4 travel days, totalling 14 hours. Filmed in mid April 2024, I stayed in various Airbnb's throughout that were all booked a good 4 Months in advance.

The NC500 series will be released each Sunday starting from 21st July 2024
