Border towns and villages have pros and cons.
The good side is that they have easy access to each other and can trade.
The bad side is that if the two countries are not along with, they are often at war and are often the ones who suffer the most.
When we reached to the Ladakh region of northern India, we also went to Turtuk, one of the last villages in India near the border with Pakistan. Before the 1971 war, Turtuk was under Pakistani administration, and after the Indian army took control of it, it is still under Indian administration.
Let's take a journey together in this video to see what is special about this village of Turtuk.
နယ်စပ်မြို့နဲ့ရွာလေးတွေမှာ ကောင်းတာနဲ့ မကောင်းတာ ဆိုပြီး ရှိနေတတ်တယ်။
ကောင်းတာကတော့ တစ်ဘက်ကနေ တစ်ဘက်ကို အလွယ်ကူးသန်းသွားလာနိုင်ဖို့ အခွင့်အရေး များသလို၊ ကုန်သွယ်ဖို့လည်း ဖြစ်နိုင်တယ်။
မကောင်းတာကတော့ နှစ်နိုင်ငံ အဆင်မပြေရင် ကြားမှာ မြေစာပင်ဖြစ်ပြီး စစ်ဒါဏ်ကို အခံရဆုံး ဖြစ်တတ်ကြတယ်။
ကျွန်တော်တို့ အိန္ဒိယမြောက်ပိုင်း Ladakh ဒေသဘက်ကို ရောက်တော့ အိန္ဒိယ နဲ့ ပါကစ္စတန် နယ်စပ်နားက အိန္ဒိယရဲ့ နောက်ဆုံးရွာတွေထဲ တစ်ရွာဖြစ်တဲ့ TurTuk ကို သွားဖြစ်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ ၁၉၇၁ ခုနှစ် စစ်ကြီးမတိုင်ခင်တုန်းကတော့ TurTuk ရွာဟာ ပါကစ္စတန်ရဲ့ အုပ်ချုပ်မှုအောက်မှာ တည်ရှိခဲ့ပြီး အိန္ဒိယစစ်တပ်က ပြန်လည်ထိန်းသိမ်းရယူပြီးချိန်မှာတော့ ခုထိတိုင် အိန္ဒိယရဲ့ အုပ်ချုပ်မှုအောက်မှာ ရှိနေပါတယ်။
