Quickly transcribe the latest original song of Mumei, the most precious, cutest owl in the world. (Apologize if there is any error)

For the first time I finally place 10 notes jump in the left hands cause I think it's the time to try something new, like the name of the song, a new start, a reason to step up my piano playing skill a bit. (Also the song is relatively slow so it's easier for me to play XD) Most of the melodies (especially in chorus) are centered around the middle C, instead of placing the melody an octave higher constantly, as I think the harmony will be better. I adopted a stable, 8-th notes accompany in the left hand as this is what the feeling, the beat and the vibe, Celtic style, the song is displaying. The Celtic style can also be expressed in the simpler chord choices. In verse-I, it adopts a Canon chord progression, a trivial yet effective progression. In chorus, IV-V-I is repeated frequently. We kinda expect that in early days of civilization, there is little deep investigation and experiments in chords arrangements.

One of the discussions is that whether the verses are in 12/8 or 4/4 time signature, which I read that in the description of one of the arrangements. In that piece, the verses are in 12/8 because of avoiding triplets. There are surely some notes are in triplets form but some of them are sung in a light, playful and shorter way which I thought would be a 16-th note. Since we have no access to the sheet of the song, the mystery will remain unresolved.

I also try to transcribe the song in Cubase first instead of typing every notes directly in Musescore. The ability to directly play the sections on my piano and check them with ease makes the process less painful.

In 2022, fewer uploads will be on this channel as I plan to revisit some classical pieces. (I dropped learning the piano years ago and I find my skill is not sufficient to transcribe songs naturally. Hence I think practicing some classical pieces will facilitate this. The exposure to different kinds of music is critical.)

這是我第一次把10音程的大跳放到自己的譜上。就如歌名 A New Start，是一個好機會讓自己嘗試新的東西，去繼續提升少少自己鋼琴技巧（另外是因為這首歌速度相對較慢，相對容易去彈這種大跳。）此外，大部分唱的旋律和和音都較聚在一起，這樣感覺和聲會更好。副歌方面因為歌的節奏和歌的風格--近古代，左手使用上安定的8分音式伴奏。風格的體現也可以在相對簡單的和弦選擇上看見。段一是下行式卡農的配搭，而副歌大部分用上IV-V-I，沒有任何裝飾，簡單的配置。可以預計在古代，沒有太深入的和弦研究，簡單的和弦是常見的。

其中一個討論點是這些主歌是 12/8 還是 4/4 拍號。在其中一個影片的資訊欄中，爲了避免了三連音，主歌是 12/8。肯定有一些音符是三連音形式的，但其中一些Mumei以比較輕鬆、俏皮和較短的方式演唱。我認為這將是 16 分音符。由於我們無法閲讀這首歌的譜，所以這個謎團仍然無法解開。
