Inside The Keep: Dover Castle (Episode 1)

In the first episode of our new series 'Inside The Keep' we take you inside the heart of some of England's most famous castles. Today we look at Dover Castle's Keep/Great Tower and show you around the different rooms whilst telling you the story of each of these.

Dover Castle is regarded as one of England's most important, acting as the 'Key to England.' It stands proudly overlooking the English Channel, and has stood defiantly against invaders from the French and even against the Nazi's during the Second World War. It has an incredibly rich history, however we focus in detail at the phenomenal Keep, and show you the Kitchens, the decorated halls, the remarkable courtly rooms where the King would stayed and also the impressive battlements that give you incredible views.

So join us in the first episode of our new series, 'Inside The Keep' as we show you around the Great Tower of the beautiful, medieval and historic Dover Castle.
