Contrary to what you may have heard all your life growing up in church, God’s antidote to the evil in this world was never for people to try harder to be more like Jesus. Why not? Because you trying harder to save yourself through better behaviour, could never be the solution to the evil in the world, because you trying to be a better you, is the very root of the problem, for the more you look to help your self, the more self-ish you become.
The Self-life had a shelf life. God doesn't have a will for your life. His life in you is His will. Jesus didn’t die merely to do something FOR men. He died to do something IN men.
