What’s up guys, today’s video is for those who may have a blackstone but perhaps the weather isn’t cooperating and decided to make their steaks indoors. Well, what goes great with steaks? Mushrooms! In this case, a mushroom pan sauce using the same cast iron skillet we cooked our steaks in. It left a beautiful flavor packed fond of caramelized bits from the steak that really adds the perfect flavor to the mushrooms. This sauce is a great complement to any steak. It’s fast, easy, and uses readily available ingredients that almost every household has.
Don’t be intimidated. Just follow this method and you’ll be fine, trust me, you can do this!

Ingredients:
Mushrooms (in the video I say 2 lbs but it was really 24 oz or 1.5 lbs)
Steak Fond from the pan (varying)
Salt (1/4 teaspoon or to taste)
Pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
Garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
Onion powder (1/2 teaspoon)
Paprika (1/2 teaspoon)
Butter (1 tablespoon)
Heavy cream (2 tablespoons)
Most of the flavor is from the steak fond, I didn’t go too crazy with seasoning since you don’t want it to overpower your steak. But it’s personal preference. Enjoy!
