I Spent $275 on Broken Joy-Cons - Can I Fix Them for Profit? I bought 18 untested Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons on eBay to see if I could fix them and then sell them to make money. The Joy-Con conditions varied with some working correctly already and others having problems like broken R buttons, control stick issues, a missing rail, and I even fixed a controller that wouldn't stop buzzing.

About This Video: I bought 18 Switch Joy-Con controllers for $15.27 per controller. The most common problem I found was broken R buttons but I also had to work on thumb stick problems, replace a missing rail, and replace a motherboard. I ended up being able to fix 16 out of the 18 and I've already sold 5 of them for a profit of about $10 per controller.
