The real katana sword is battle ready, hand made by 1095 High Carbon steel in the ancient sword making method with a full length Tang greatly enhances the strength of the sword while swung. Full hand forged, hand polished and hand sharpened. The blade was well heat treating (Refining) and quenching(Tempering) greatly improve the hardness for real use. The blade has shaped in "UNOKUBI-ZUKURI" style, one triangle Hi on each side which is shorter and deep which is from habaki to the middle of the blade, the sword is sharp enough for cutting pratice, very good choice for Dojo students and collection, gifts and display. It is durable enough for cutting tameshigiri and bamboo.
