Shinobi: Art Of Vengeance - Neo City Arcade Mode [S Rank, Full Combo, No Damage]

After spending all of last weekend grinding the absolute heck out of the Sonic Racing Crossworlds beta (made it to rank A+ online, happy with that), time to come back and continue my S rank runs, this time over on Neo City.

This stage can be summed up in four words: GOD I HATE SNIPERS. I had some footage of a previous S rank run, but got hit by snipers on the left path multiple times, so I elected not to upload that and return when I had a proper no damage run instead.

Whenever my shield broke, I went a little slower between encounters and platforming sections to give it time to recharge.

The chase sequence also had me a little uncomfortable. I previously mentioned how any source of damage, no matter how little and no matter if it was hitting a hazard or falling off the screen would instantly kill you, but I was more concerned about the grapple hooks. Because of the close spacing between some of them, you couldn't just spam your grapple button, because otherwise the game would actually grapple you back the way you just came from, turning you back around and throwing you face first into the oncoming helicopter.

As usual, the boss was a pushover thanks to Berserker and high combo. I would fight them normally, but Kijima has a fidget-spinner esque sword that spins around him near-constantly, and I didn't want to risk my combo and shield just to get him down to execute level. But as ever, executions are not required for S rank, so we roll with it.

I skipped over the Elite Squad encounters and getting all of the medals as they're not a strict requirement for S ranks in Arcade mode, although I'll definitely revisit in future and try for a "perfect" run of doing all Elites, all medals and full combo.
