00:06 Plym Theatres demolition
Demolition began on the former children's theatres in November 2024 to pave the way for the new Urgent and Emergency Care facility.

00:17 New Emergency Care Building
Demonstration of what the outside of the new building will look like. The new 17,200m footprint will provide a new Emergency Department, dedicated Paediatric Emergency facilities, Same Day Emergency Care and Interventional Theatres, as well as conventional and hybrid theatres. Main works will start spring 2025, to open 2028.

Opened October 2023

03:12 Plymouth Community Diagnostic Centre
This new building at a central location in the city centre will provide 91,600 high quality diagnostic tests per year, including CT, MRI, X-Ray, ECHO, ECG, EEG and Ultrasound in addition to blood pressure monitoring and lung function tests, audiology, sleep investigations and more. The main works will start in 2025 with the aim to open in 2026.
