This game is very luck-based. I tried several times until I finally got lucky in this run.
If you’re going to attempt this challenge, Athena seems to be the best character, and you should try to focus on these items and tomes:
Tomes:
REGEN is essential
THORNS / SHIELD
(Optional) EVASION / ARMOR / XP
Items:
CURSED DOLL is the most important common item — try to find it early in the game
CACTUS / MEDKIT
ELECTRIC PLUG
SPIKY SHIELD / MIRROR
HOLY BOOK / SOUL HARVEST
*Disable unnecessary items
Shrine Upgrades:
Choose REGEN / THORNS
