Dan Arnott moved into his own flat at Fletcher Way in Hemel last year. He's a history buff, a big supporter of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and a volunteer at Radio Dacorum.
Dan has cerebral palsy and only 5% vision. His flat has been designed so he can still live independently. Services like Fletcher Way help people who would have had to live in residential care to finally have a home of their own.
