Take That opened the Children In Need Rocks The Royal Albert Hall event, held on November 12 2009, with a live performance of ‘Greatest Day’. The evening of live music, which was organised by Gary, included performances from #SirPaulMcCartney, #RobbieWilliams, #LeonaLewis, #Muse, #SnowPatrol, #DameShirleyBassey, #DizzeeRascal and #KatherineJenkins, amongst others. The finale of the evening was a performance of The Beatles’ ‘Hey Jude’ by all the guests, and the event contributed more than £2 million to 2009’s annual Children In Need appeal.
