Knitted Granny Square Tutorial

Is it knitting if I used crochet techniques but made it with knitting needles? You can decide. Either way, this technique is a lot more gentle on my wrists and fingers when making a granny square. I want to make a hexagon sweater now. If you would like a to see how I do it, let me know.
