Ice Age in Southern NJ -
After another major snowfall in what is already an all-time historic winter, Conrail Shared Assets train WPCA-11 heads northbound on the Vineland Secondary through Gloucester City, NJ. A freshly fallen foot of snow provides some great contrast between the Conrail blue and the white snow.
At the helm is an Ex-Conrail SD40-2 (CR #6401) still in Conrail Quality paint as of Februrary 6th, 2010. Now owned by CSXT, its number is CSXT #8817. It is one of only a handful of CSX SD40-2's still in Conrail Quality paint.
The second unit is an Ex-Erie Lackawana SD45-2, NS #1701.
