It’s the final episode of We Love to See You Dance. By now, you’ve learned the basics of New York City-style salsa dancing, and now, instructors Erika and Edwin Rivera are bringing together all of those foundational moves learned in Lessons 1 through 9. It’s time to shine!

Closing out the series is one of the greatest salsa singers of all time, Héctor Lavoe, singing one of his signature songs, “Mi Gente,” live with the Fania All-Stars recorded in August of 1973 in front of 40 thousand fans. This incredible recording comes from the All-Stars’ classic 1976 LP, Live at Yankee Stadium, Vol.1.
