İlyas and Melike Özyürek live in Şile with their daughter Ceren and their 6-year-old son Kaan. One evening, excited about receiving her first paycheck, Melike gets caught up window-shopping and ends up being late to pick up Kaan from school…

While waiting for his mother in the schoolyard, Kaan follows a hedgehog and trails it all the way to a park. Meanwhile, Efe, the 12-year-old son of Zeynep and Tuğrul, is also at the park.

Efe is a boy who is disconnected from his family and whose only friend is his computer games. After a while, he realizes that Kaan is lost, and the two set out together to go to the police station…

Meanwhile, Melike and İlyas are frantically searching the streets of Şile for their son when they receive devastating news… After this tragic event, nothing will ever be the same again for either family.
