uhhh, the darkolina continues? with season three vibes?

PLOT: both alina and nikolai are haunted by visions of the darkling - in nikolai's case, it's the 'monster' in his head - after their respective collision with merzost and the darkling's death. then lo and behold, a familiar face rises back from the dead... thanks to a certain saint of the roses (elizaveta). chaos, merzost, monster!nikolai, power swaps, dark!alina and a tentative truce ensues as they come together to stop elizaveta.

tbh i have not read all of rule of wolves (and recall little of king of scars) so this is uhhhhh heavily au? a lot of dark!alina and a lot of.... surprise aleks! bringing back people from the dead brings lots of surprises and the universe needs balance, y'know? i also know that elizaveta has different goals etc., but tbh i just ran with it (i legit.... have no idea how that plotline ends....? does it even??) anyways here u go writers for s3 (if... it ever happens lol)

anyways, i've been wanting to do a sort of aesthetic-y vid for the grishaverse for so long now, inspired by ‪@LaurenMichellex‬ and her incredible work! so this is probably as close as i'll get (her hp vids are chefs kiss)!

lastly, inspiration - particularly the last shot of our trio - is heavily inspired by ‪@Bellsilili‬ family line video (   • Sirius Black | Family line  ) . this is also dedicated to u babez, darkolina truther always and #1 hype woman. 🖤 the dorian au we never knew we needed

ps. yes this was an excuse to use bb!dorian as the darkling. stuck in my head he comes back looking like this (although, in canon if it ever happens, it won't but LISTEN)
