Stop Drinking - tips that will help you survive the first week of sobriety

The first week sober can feel tough, a bit like you are taking the first steps to climbing a huge mountain, but you can't even see the summit for the low hanging clouds above you.

That fear of the unknown can often cause us to give up on our climb and go right back to the start before we even reach the 2nd basecamp. This is why I see so many people experiencing day one of sobriety over and over again.

The good news is that the summit of that sober-mountain isn't as far away as we actually think, but we often tell ourselves a story that it is going to be the hardest journey of our lives.

The tips for staying sober in this video will help you get past the tricky terrain that you can experience in the first week or two when you are quitting drinking and will allow you to move to a place where you are enjoying the journey and experiencing wonderful changes in your life.

These 7 tips for surviving the first week sober worked for me, I was a heavy daily wine drinker for over twenty years, I never thought I could break free, but I did and now I want to show you what life is like on the other side.
