In 2004, Peter Auto introduced Classic Endurance Racing as a support race for the Le Mans Series meetings. We found this archive of the 2009 Nürburgring 1000 km. For the German round, the star was obviously the "factory" Porsche 936 Martini, identical to the car that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1977. Also present was an impressive Dodge Charger, which had escaped from the Nascar races.
Since that time, CER has been transformed into one of the leading grids at Peter Auto events and it has been an inspiration for several more!
