Despite insufficient demand for expensive battery-electric vehicles, Rolls-Royce intends to discontinue its BMW-developed V12 engine by the end of 2029. The forthcoming switch to electric muscle will kickstart with the replacement for the Cullinan, which could be unveiled in near-production form as soon as this year's edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Pebble Beach's Concours d'Elegance is another candidate, but for the time being, the British automaker's second electric vehicle after the Spectre raises more questions than it answers.
