Lucky Noobs [LN] - Bastion of the Penitent

Hey everyone, happy to share our yearly full run of Bastion of the Penitent, where we improved our old 9:44 time by 44 seconds!

We’re really happy with how this run turned out since we hit all our goals for the bosses and transitions.

Cairn was almost identical to our all-time comp, but we swapped the qUnt for a Heal Chrono to speed up the Mursaat Overseer pre-event. That change saved us around 10 seconds compared to other runs.

On Samarog, we got lucky with two phase skips in P2, which made it faster than usual. However, it scuffed P3 a bit because we had an immediate CC at the start of P3. That CC almost killed the run, but luckily, I managed to react in time and got two tanks back-to-back to keep our CC calculations for each breakbar on track.
Also, I didn’t do a food swap on Samarog because I’d used my last food swap food in the previous run and forgot to buy new ones. Funny enough, that run ended up being the one.

Deimos was solid overall. We could’ve saved 1-2 seconds in the final 10%, but apart from that, it went really well. Unfortunately, I got RNG screwed when trying to dodge Saul’s attacks. I got ported by the second Saul at the same moment and ended up dodging off the platform. RIP.
