In this video, we test 9 electric cars and 9 internal combustion engine (ICE) cars using different types of fuel: diesel, gasoline with LPG, plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and strong hybrids. The lineup includes:
Electric cars: Tesla Model S, Tesla Model Y, Volkswagen ID.4, BYD Seal U, Zeekr 001, Hyundai Kona EV, Toyota BZ4X, Peugeot e-2008, BYD Tang EV.
ICE and hybrid cars: DS7 E-Tense Plug-in Hybrid, Toyota Prius PHEV, Jeep Avenger MHEV, Hyundai Kona Hybrid, Audi Q8 TDI, Peugeot 3008 HDI, Opel Grandland BlueHDi, Renault Koleos (LPG/petrol), Renault Fluence (LPG/petrol).
In this video, we will:
1️. Test the real-world energy consumption of Tesla, Volkswagen, Zeekr, Peugeot, Hyundai, Toyota, and BYD electric vehicles in urban conditions.
2️. Compare the fuel costs of popular diesel cars: Audi 3.0 TDI, Opel 1.5 BlueHDi, and Peugeot 2.0 HDI.
3️. Charge electric cars at WOG and ECOFACTOR charging stations and analyze the cost.
4️. Discuss the running costs of early Tesla Model S models.
5️. Measure the fuel efficiency of Renault cars equipped with LPG systems.
6️. Compare the costs of Tesla Model Y, Volkswagen ID.4, BYD Seal U, and Toyota BZ4X as direct competitors.
7️. Find out if the Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid is truly economical.
8️. Analyze the fuel efficiency of the PHEV DS7 in city driving.
9️. Get acquainted with the new Hyundai Kona Hybrid.
10. Test the mild hybrid Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid.
11. Compare the running costs of the Volkswagen ID.4 and the Tesla Model Y.
12. Finally, answer the big question: Which is better—LPG, hybrid, diesel, or electric?
