UCI Mountain Bike World Championships 2025 | Crans-Montana🇨🇭🚴‍♀️Wallis || Travel Guide

✨ Welcome back to Crans-Montana for the second race day of the 2025 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships. The atmosphere was electric: fans received free Swiss flags and souvenirs — T-shirts, sunglasses, sweets, and even keychains worth up to 25 CHF. Volunteers were well taken care of, and the crowd’s support could be felt all along the course. 🇨🇭👏

👩‍🦰 Women’s Races (XCO, Sept 14)

In the Elite Women category, Jenny Rissveds (Sweden) claimed the gold medal, Samara Maxwell (New Zealand) took silver, Alessandra Keller (Switzerland) finished with bronze, and Evie Richards (Great Britain) came in fourth.
In U23 Women, the title went once again to Isabella Holmgren (Canada), with silver for Vida Lopez de San Roman (USA), bronze for Valentina Corvi (Italy), and Anina Hutter (Switzerland) finishing fourth. 🚴‍♀️🔥

👨‍🦱 Men’s Races (XCO, Sept 14)

The men’s race was just as intense. Alan Hatherly (South Africa) took the gold, confirming his place among the world’s strongest riders. Swiss and French athletes also fought hard for the top spots, delivering an amazing show for the fans.

💬 There were also some crashes towards the end of the races — with riders crossing the line covered in cuts and bruises, but the determination and crowd support pushed them to the finish.
