What happens when woodworking and aviation come together? In this project, I hand-craft a wooden airplane propeller inspired by vintage aircraft. Using hardwood I sculpt the propeller until it resembles those found on classic airplanes. Even though it's made as a display, the process is similar to how propellers would have been traditionally made back when airplanes were just getting off the ground.
