Film features footage of Winston Churchill’s daughter, Mary Churchill Soames, grandson, Winston Spencer-Churchill, and daughter-in-law, Pamela Churchill Harriman, scenes of city streets, buildings, landmarks, and countryside in Great Britain, and scenes of the christening of the B-17 bomber “Stage Door Canteen” in England in April 1944 with Mary Churchill Soames, General Frederick Anderson, and actors Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier present for the christening. This film was preserved through a grant from the National Film Preservation Foundation.
