In this episode we give you a quick run-down of how we have set up our solar panels and kit for an off-grid glamping geodesic dome or yurt.
We get our kits from Bimble Solar in the UK but there are lots of companies that do off-grid solar kits.
Our smaller yurts and domes run 12 volt systems where the solar panel runs into a leisure battery and powers lighting and usb charging points.
Our larger dome has solar panels that run into an inverter and power a boiler, fridge, lighting and chargers.
