CTA’s next generation CRRC Sifang 7000 series has begun Testing for in revenue testing along the Green Line, these cars will soon replace 2600s build by the Budd Company total of 400, if options are done then total of 846 rail cars will also replace the 3200s build by Morrison-Knudsen (MK) and will be soon delivered and be in service on the Blue, Orange and Brown Line
So sit back, relax and enjoy the ride On board CTA’s next generation series of rail cars now testing on the Green Line and will eventually be on the Green Line for 6 weeks
