Wu Hao Pao is the first 2-man set in Xing Yi. The 2-man sets are arranged forms practiced by 2 people, and their main purpose is to get students ready to move into more free-form practice. Something you can get from the 2-man sets if you're a beginner is to internalize a good sense of the distance between you and your opponent. If you're more experienced, something you can get from them is to go back and mine the forms for application ideas that you might not have thought about on your own.
This is the last part of a 4 part series. A common complaint from students when they start to learn the form is that they don't know what to practice for it on their own when they go back home. In this video, we combine both sides of the form in a step-by-step sequence. Keep practicing!

We practice and teach, Xinyi-Dao, a Chinese martial art developed by Grandmaster Li Tai Liang. Xinyi-Dao uses posture, breathing and unique body mechanics to generate power that can be used not only for fighting but general health and fitness as well. The exercises used to train these mechanics build strength and range of motion throughout the entire body with emphasis on the core, waist and hips. Our typical training session consists of these fundamental exercises along with drills to practice footwork, various fighting techniques and partner drills for application of the techniques. Xinyi-Dao’s unique training methods allow people both young and old to develop power for fighting and also build a healthy, strong and limber body. We've been practicing this art for over 10 years and look to share its benefits with everyone who is interested!
