About the basis
I use polystyrene instead of ready-made canvas. The reason is that canvas is expensive and very inconvenient for bas-relief. Clay preparation
The composition consists of 2 types of raw materials. 1- Rotband Knauf (type of putty) 2- Iranian wood glue. Add 100 grams of glue to 200 grams of putty and mix until a dough of medium hardness is formed. The faster you mix the clay and bring it to a ready state, the longer it will last. Because the clay hardens in about 15 minutes. When the desired shape is ready, it is recommended to finish it with water. In addition, it can be used without using glue on the base
