A hexadecimal number system is a base 16 number system as it uses 16 digits from 0 to 9 and A to F. The numbers 10-15 are replaced with hexadecimal symbols A to F.

Hexadecimal to binary conversion : Replace each hex digit with the corresponding binary equivalent and write all the binary digits together

Binary to hexadecimal : Group the binary number into nibbles (4 bits). Replace each group with the corresponding hex digit.

Binary fraction to hexadecimal: Group the bits from right to left for integer part and from left to right for fractional part.
