Trump Authorizes Military to Take Control of Federal Land Along Southern Border

A narrow stretch of federal lands that runs along a major portion of the U.S.- Mexico border has been transferred to the military in hopes of increasing migrant apprehensions under a new memo signed by president Trump. The Roosevelt Reservation, a 60-foot-side strip of land that stretches across California, Arizona and New Mexico, will be treated as Department of Defense property. Brahm Resnik reports.
