Good Morning Weirdos!
Thank You for joining me on my continuing journey. This show is dedicated to preserving and sharing what’s left of my life with what’s left of the world. Each morning, I will use the first hour to catch up on what’s going on in my life now, and the second hour will be devoted to a sort of “Show & Tell” where I can share many of the things from the past that I have collected in my Time Travels. Please join me each day for a look into the past.
Monday Movie Memories is exactly that. Some days we will watch an old educational film from the past or more often we’ll discuss one of my favorite movies, learns facts and watch trailers. We’ll also explore firsthand some of the devices that helped create those films, as well as bring them into our schools and even our homes.
Totally Television Tuesdays we’ll check out some of our favorite TV commercials, shows and classic news broadcasts. And, just like Mondays, we’ll look at some of the early electronic home gadgets that entertained us.
Old Time Radio Wednesday has got to be my favorite day of the week, by far! (MMM running a close second) some days we’ll listen to and examine some of my favorite shows. Other days we’ll look at some of the devices we tuned in on. And yet other days we might just do some repair work on old machines.
Throwback Thursday let’s us take a time trip to a place and time and immerse ourselves in the awesomeness of the past. You never know what we’ll find down my time tunnel. Explore a past concert from different sides of the picture or maybe just have Arts & Craft Day!
Flashback Friday we “take a look” back into my own past and the people, places and things that really made me who I am. My hometown of Lake Elsinore, California and the surrounding areas. My growing years were the 1970’s and 1980’s so most of what I know and still draw from are lessons I learned way back then.
